All European Careers has provided experienced IT project and product professionals to companies across Europe since 2012. We place IT project and programme managers, Scrum Masters, product owners, Agile coaches and PMO consultants, on assignment, as a team extension or as a permanent hire.
A plan is only as good as the person running it
Most IT projects start with a clear plan. Then the scope grows, a supplier slips, two teams wait on each other and the steering committee hears about it last. None of that is unusual. What matters is whether someone sees it coming and keeps everyone moving in the same direction.
That is the job of a good project or product manager. They keep the plan honest, make decisions visible, and make sure the business, the developers and the suppliers are talking about the same thing.
Many organisations now run Agile teams inside traditional governance, with sprints on the ground and budgets, milestones and audits above them. We place people who are comfortable in both worlds: Scrum Masters who keep a team productive, and project managers who can report to a board without losing the team.

Common questions
What is the difference between a project manager and a Scrum Master?
A project manager is responsible for delivering a project on time, on budget and in scope. A Scrum Master helps a Scrum team work well and removes what slows it down, but does not manage the plan or the budget. Many projects need both.
Can a project manager take over a project that is already running?
Yes. Project managers often join mid-project, when the original manager leaves or when a project needs to be brought back on track.
Do your project managers know PM²?
Yes. Many of the project managers we place for international organisations work with PM², a project management method widely used in the public sector, and several hold PM² certification. Tell us if your project requires it and we only propose candidates who know it.
How quickly can a project manager start?
We send shortlisted, pre-screened profiles of project managers who are available now, usually within days.
How do you charge?
No cure, no pay. There is no retainer, no upfront cost and no exclusivity. For a permanent hire you pay a one-time fee only when the project manager starts. Contractors are invoiced at an agreed daily or monthly rate.
