All European Careers has provided experienced business analysts to companies across Europe since 2012. We place IT business analysts, requirements engineers, BPMN process analysts, Agile business analysts and UAT coordinators, on assignment, as a team extension or as a permanent hire, for projects where business and IT need to understand each other.
Most IT projects don't fail on technology
They fail on a sentence in a requirements document that meant one thing to the business and another to the developers. On a process nobody drew out before automating it. On acceptance testing squeezed into the last week because the deadline didn't move.
A good business analyst prevents that. They sit between the people who know the business and the people who build the system, ask the questions nobody thought of, and write requirements a developer can build and a user can test.
In regulated sectors such as finance and the public sector, the analyst also keeps the paper trail: which requirement came from which rule, and how it was tested. Auditors ask for that.
We place analysts who are comfortable on both sides of the table. They can map a process in BPMN with operations in the morning and refine a backlog with the development team in the afternoon.

Common questions
What is the difference between a business analyst and a product owner?
A product owner decides what gets built and in which order. A business analyst works out exactly what is needed and makes sure it is described clearly. On many teams one person does both. We place business analysts here, and product owners through our Project & Product Management expertise.
Can a business analyst join a project that is already running?
Yes. Analysts often join mid-project, when requirements turn out to be less clear than expected or when acceptance testing is coming up.
Do your analysts also run user acceptance testing?
Yes. We place analysts who plan and coordinate UAT with the business, so the people who will use the system confirm it works for them.
Do your business analysts speak the local language?
Yes. Besides English, our analysts bring a wide range of native languages from across Europe and beyond, such as French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, etc. Requirements often come from users who work in their own language, so we match the analyst to your team.
Which certifications do your analysts hold?
Many hold IIBA (CBAP or CCBA), IREB CPRE or Scrum product owner certifications. We look at experience first and certificates second.
How do you charge?
No cure, no pay. There is no retainer, no upfront cost and no exclusivity. For a permanent hire you pay a one-time fee only when the analyst starts. Contractors are invoiced at an agreed daily or monthly rate.
