Overview

We are urgently looking for a Pen-test/Vulnerability Assessment specialist for one of the European Institutions in Luxembourg. Candidates need to be fluent in English. EU candidates from abroad are welcome to apply. Relocation is required (once the corona measures are finished and move is possible). This role is also open for freelancers.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Evaluate toolkits available on the market (including realisation of prototypes, etc.), buildand maintain an ethical hacking and application security testing lab, including the Source Code Analysis (SCA) solution;
  • Develop system software (e.g. scripts for automated configuration, system analysis, alerting);
  • Perform regular vulnerability scans using automatic or manual scanners (Trip Wire, Nessus, Netsparker, … );
  • Perform pentests against infrastructure components (servers, network) or applications;Perform technical compliance checks against reference configurations (Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, … );
  • Perform Application Security Assessments using SCA;
  • Produce documentation and reports (installation, configuration guidance, assessment reports, … );
  • Maintain and update the vulnerability tracking database, support various EP stakeholders in the vulnerability remediation process; ยท
  • Design, prepare and perform technical demos, videos and workshops for user awareness or seminars.

Profile:

  • Bachelor or University degree (bac +4) and at least 8 years of experience in IT or comparable through experience;
  • +2 years of experience in pen-test and/or vulnerability assessment;
  • Experience with following tools: Nessus, Tripwire IP360, Acunetix, Burp Suite Professional, Kali Linux, …;
  • Fluently in English;
  • Work autonomously but you can collaborate with non-technical people;
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents;
