Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst - Murcia

We are urgently looking for a Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst in the region of Murcia. Candidates need to have a fluent level of English.

This position is remote and long-term. Candidates need to live and work in region of Murcia (max 2 hour drive) to make occassional meetings on-site possible.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Builds constructive working relationships / partnerships with client product owners / key stakeholders and team members, facilitating strategic and execution alignment;
  • Owns and communicates the cadence for internal and client-facing ceremonies. Leads backlog refinement, demos and retrospectives; participates and advises in the daily stand up and sprint planning sessions;
  • Provides expertise and both big picture and detailed advice for team members (product engineers, QA engineers and scrum lead);
  • Structures delivery into epics, features and user stories;
  • Works with architects to define and agree solutions;
  • Liaises with relevant business and technology stakeholders to elicit and analyse requirements, define and document user stories using gherkin script, each with clear acceptance criteria;
  • Supports the testing / QA process;
  • Ensures that supporting documentation is either created or maintained to support end users;
  • Facilitates and manages risks, blockers and dependencies, escalating internally or to the client when required;
  • Ensures clear reporting and metrics are provided to demonstrate velocity and value to the client;
  • Supports, contributes to or leads client steering committee depending on the engagement;
  • Embeds a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the sprint team, with client counterpart teams and across the SQA Consulting organisation;
  • Looks for opportunities to increase client engagement;
  • Mentoring and supporting team members;


Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • +10 years of experience as Product Owner / Business Analyst;
  • 10 years’ experience in the fields of business analysis and/or product management;
  • In-depth experience in leading projects using Agile frameworks – experience within Scaled Agile is an advantage. Able to give evidence of a proactive organised approach to delivery;
  • Background in software delivery and detailed knowledge of the SDLC is necessary;
  • CI / CD and DevOps awareness is an advantage;
  • Evidence of senior stakeholder management is also required;
  • Excellent documentation skills;
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking;
  • Track record of delivering business benefits and value;
  • Experience in developing top performing teams;
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills;
  • Track record of delivering client-facing projects and programmes;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills;
  • Fluent level of English;
